<p>Paros airport has many daily flights from and to Athens but it is not
an Iternational Airport.Most people choose to fly first in one of
Athens, Mykonos or Santorini, airports (The closest international
airports to Paros) and then take a ferry or fly again to their dreamy
destination, Paros island.You can reach Paros from Crete, Samos, or
Dodecanese islands(Patmos, Rodos,Kos), although the boat schedules
aren't daily.<br>

Whichever way you choose to travel, the sight of the Historical Parikia
where the Blue and the White of the Houses are joined together in a

If this is your first time in Greece and the Greek Islands we supose you
would like to see Athens Sightseeing like Acropolis the Parthenon,
Panathinaiko Stadium (where the first modern Olympic Games took place in
1896), in that case you will arrive in the new Athens airport "Eleftherios
Venizelos" which is 40 minutes from downtown Athens and 60 minutes about
from Pireaus port, the central port of Athens.<br>

Olympic airlines has regular flights from Athens airport to Paros in 35
minutes and if you prefer to travel by ship, from the port of Pireaus
there is frequent ferry connection to Paros all during the day.Normaly
the last boat from pireaus is at 10am.You can reach paros in 5 hours
with a normal boat and in 2.45 hours with the high-speed.There is also a
boat service,but not daily, from the port of Rafina (one hour from the
center of athens and the nearest port from the airport)<br>

Take in mind that you must leave the islands at least one day before
your flight back home, sometimes two days,because of the Boat schedules
or the Weather.These last two days (instead of the first) are perfect
for the Athens Tour, so you win the first days being in the islands.The

for the last days of your trip,and you will not feel anxious about your

connection.Normal boats reach paros in 3.30 hours and the high speed in

and the high speed in 45 minutes.<br>
